Interviews with witnesses show the Kurds who are now getting weapons and air support from Washington left the Yazidis defenseless earlier this month.

I'm sure they would have been willing to fight for themselves.
What’s the point of the article? It comes down military considerations, to standby and get slaughtered along with those they are defending or withdraw, consolidate and return with a vengeance?
Yeah, they should have just stayed in un-defensible positions with no air support and poor weapons. They should have just shot themselves.
The Yazidis should have left with them, or better yet, our turd of a president should have destroyed ISIS in the desert months ago.
It is against Obama’s principles to vanquish a foe.
Recent ghastly events have guaranteed that they will be willing to fight for themselves.
Folks are pretty much getting it. If you’re concerned about your positions on your own soil, you have to draw back. It’s not like they wished bad things on the Yazidis or they wouldn’t have been there in the first place.

Notice that NOW they’re getting weapons, but EARLIER THIS MONTH they didn’t have them.
This is just agitprop to misdirect the eye away from the jihadist mass-murderers and cast blame on some of their victims. Give it a month and the Yazidis will be getting blamed for their own murders.
Obama “Hey, I fixed it...It’s their fault they messed everything up.”
It almost seems that the intent of the article is to drive a wedge between the US and the Kurds, so that ISIS can prevail.
That’s pretty damn SICK, if you ask me.
The DB is doing what all good Media lapdogs do — attempting to absolve the Administration of responsibility for their negligence & outright malfeasance by implying that the Kurds are really “no better” than the ISIS animals ...
