Sunday on CBS's "Face The Nation," Gov. Jay Nixon (D-MO) said the local police "attempting to besmirch a victim of a shooting" by releasing a video of Michael Brown allegedly engaging in a "strong-arm" convenience store robbery.
"I think it had an incendiary effect," Nixon said. "I mean, when you release picture and you clearly are attempting to besmirch a victim of a shooting, shot down in his own street, a young man and at the same time you’re releasing information to try to make it, to tarnish him, then properly, there was a lot of folks that were concerned about that, and I do think it flamed it back up and has caused us to have to deal with some of that."

They looted the convenience store the perp. stole the Swisher Schweets from the other night. It was also the local liquor store. This is going to be a major inconvenience for rioter and looters that have been causing all the trouble, as well as any heavy drinkers in the area. I guess they can't relate to wisdom in the saying "Cut off your nose to spite your face"?
What is wrong with seeing a video of a man’s actions, are we not to know what sort of ‘innocent’ man was allegedly shot?
“...to tarnish him...” The governor is a brain-addled LIB/DIM. What a jerk! Maybe the dead perp should have led other than a life of crime and thuggishness if then fool didn’t want “tarnished”. I really hope all LIBs/DIMs receive brain transplants. Their logic centers are obviously burned-out.

The Dems need this for their election to get the votes out. They have nothing to run on at all , and so they have to play the innocent little sweet black child getting executed by the evil white cop .
They want to do another autopsy , they wanted the robbery video withheld, they are trying to attack the cops and ignore the robbery , looters and rioting.

And trained to ignore drunk driving by Hispanics if there is some suspicion that the driver may be in the country illegally. They'd rather not open that can of worms (deportation, city funded legal defense, no money for fines, etc.) and will send the driver on his way (or ask that someone else in the car take the wheel).
