Michael Brown Shooting Witness Releases Video: ‘I Knew This Was Not Right’ (Video)
The WRAP ^ | August 18th, 2014 | Tim Molloy

Posted on 08/18/2014 2:41:25 PM PDT by Mariner

A woman who says she witnessed the shooting of unarmed black teenager Michael Brown has released video to CNN that shows Brown lying in the street as officers stand by.

The shooting has spawned a week of protests in which demonstrators have demanded an explanation for Brown's killing. Police in Ferguson, Mo., say officer Darren Wilson opened fire because Brown tried to take his gun during an altercation.

Piaget Crenshaw said she has waited until now to release the video because she feared for her safety and was waiting for police to release Wilson's name, which they did Friday. She also said police could have released her video Friday — when they also released surveillance footage that they said showed Brown stealing cigarillos from a convenience store before the shooting. She said police had her video because they confiscated her phone.

beandog:".. He shot the punk because he was rushing him..."

The term alledgedly used by the police officer was "bum rush " me .
Any background information on Brown playing football in grammer or high school .
Others have Identified Brown as being:' 6 foot 4 inches , and 'solidly built', and 296 pounds' , sounds like a football player to me .
That might explain the "Bum rush " .. ?
and why Brown kept comming towards the officer to knock him off his feet, and begin the second fight for control of the gun.

Oh, yea they lie so easy. Internal Affairs is all over each story. Innocent officers get railroaded too often due to political charges. Open mouth, to the (political) brass, when see wrong doings, you get fired, eventually. It’s not all as you believe. (Though, I have no doubt people will lie) And, makes me think of the top law enforcement officer, who does that so well.

This is not a video of the actual events. This is just a woman’s account of it and has already been proven incorrect with the whole shooting him while his hands were up and after he was on the ground. Shots don’t match that story.

Here is the very first report featuring Piaget Crenshaw from a local station, KSDK.

Watch the witness speculate wildly, describe in vivid detail what she believes happened, contradict herself then and now, and ADMIT POLICE CONFISCATED HER PHONE immediately.

(but she did have time to upload the videos to her Facebook page!)

This is where the rumor about QT started, and why the community burned down the QT.

Piaget says she hung out with the victim, and he was just a nice boy who didn’t deserve to be gunned down innocently.

etc etc.

i agree with your assessment. also, can michael reaching in the car for the officers gun and the officer pushing him back out of the car, look a lot like the officer is trying to pull michael into the car. No one in their right mind would pull a 300 lb anything into the window of their car. you are asking to get beat up.

Should be mentioned, during many news worthy incidents people who are not witnesses want to be witnesses. It's human nature to want to become involved, be part of the event. Some are motivated by race, some are motivated by fame, to write books, getting their face in the papers, and want to be part of the story...Unfortunately in this event, many are likely motivated by race issues.

Remember this probably is the biggest thing that's happened and Ferguson ever. Then throw in people being influenced by the famous attorneys, race industry bosses, CNN news crews and on and on...Like that song: Wanna see my picture on the cover...

This woman is an idiot. She contradicts the autopsy reports.

She says the officer was pacing after he realize what he had done. No, he was pacing because nobody wants to kill a young kid. Unfortunately nobody wants to allow that same kid to engage them physically where a gun can be commandeered and used to terminate the them either.

All the dumb ass kid had to do, was get out of the street. Now he’s dead. Brilliant!

I chalk this up once again to empowerment. Blacks are told not to let anyone tell them what to do. Be prowd, stand up for yourself. You are never wrong. Everyone else is for challenging you.

We’ll see a lot more of this and other anti-social behaviors until blacks understand they need to comply with social norms just like everyone else does.

Other races have to obey the laws. Why is it that blacks think they never have to?

Grow the F up blacks.

One of the hand wounds is consistent with being shot from the back while running away, but it could also be something else, like hands raised above head

Not according to the second autopsy performed by Dr. Michael Boden. He said all wounds consistent with frontal shots.

She also claims that a bullet went through her neighbor’s window because the officer was firing wildly.

She says “they took my phone into custody” because she has multiple videos of the incident.

She says “the police just swerved on him unknowingly, no Miranda rights, no nothing, started to grab him and just pulled him into the car..he ripped away and got shot a couple times, police shot randomly, they shot through my neighbor’s window over there, they have a hole through their window and they could have harmed innocent civilians”.

She says police “explained to his mother that they shot him because they were afraid of him because of his size”.

She says “from hearing all his friends and family story, and plus I hung out with him personally...he’s not a violent type, everybody knew he didn’t have a gun on him.”

“we want to put the name with the face” She is talking about Wilson. No agenda there.

Well, yeah. I was out of the country at the time, and it was reported as fact that a white vigilante hunted down and murdered a black teenager, with the accompanying picture of a 12 year old cherubic boy. And then the cops slapped him on the back in congratulations and let him go.

Is there any particular reason, at the time, that I should have believed that this was almost entirely untrue, as it was?

Unless I had some kind of overriding belief system that no white person would do such a thing. Unfortunately, I happen to know for a fact there are indeed white people capable of such evil.

Once back in the country and in contact with actual facts, I changed my mind pretty quick.

The notion that the cops were in on it bothered me from the first, as if it were still 1933 and To Kill a Mockingbird.

Watching and commenting:

Officer looking at the body “bewildered”. Trying to talk to other officer. “What have I just done?”

And she knows that how?

I had forgotten that you were a Trayvon fan.

What an odd comment. As if I should have just assumed, contrary to all the "evidence" presented by the media initially, that Zimmerman was innocent and Martin was a wannabee thug.

It came out pretty quickly, for anybody who cared to look, that this was very nearly the reverse of the actual facts.

In the first couple of days, how did YOU know what exactly had happened?

BTW, I've got a rather large number of posts out there. If you can find any that show I'm a "Trayvon fan," I'll be quite surprised.
