The destruction of Syria's chemical weapons stockpile has been completed, Barack Obama has said.
The US President welcomed the development, but said Washington would seek to ensure Damascus fulfils all its commitments.
"Today we mark an important achievement in our ongoing effort to counter the spread of weapons of mass destruction by eliminating Syria's declared chemical weapons stockpile," he said.
He added that the destruction, carried out aboard a US Navy ship on the Mediterranean Sea, sent "a clear message that the use of these abhorrent weapons has consequences and will not be tolerated by the international community".

Obama punts. This is what he said as per the article (Emphasis mine):

A lot of those chemical weapons were skirted off to Lebanon and some are with Hezbollah according to what I saw. I would not doubt that ISIS has some as well.
Putin got them to give them up. All of them?? More than likely. You really think Syria wants these stockpiles at this point in time?? Makes little sense to keep them. They deteriorate and can easily be used against Syria.
That’s too bad — now it’s needed it more than ever.
But how much of it was acquired by the “freedom Fighters” to become weapons of the muslin brotherhood and isis? I am always amazed that the press never pushed to uncover the original sourced of these WMD’s, well not really amazed since it would prove Bush, American intel and the intell of all the other countries that supported him were right.

I think he meant to say the Destruction of Iraq’s Chemical Weapons is complete.

And Obama will blame Bush for not taking them out when he had the chance.
