Iconic Surrealism (?) ^

Posted on 08/19/2014 9:35:55 PM PDT by TigerClaws

VANITY:

This guy filed a Freedom of Information request which was denied. Apparently tipped by law enforcement contact (so he says).

Any way FR can verify?

Statute keeping records under seal for juvenile offenses in that state:

Thanks. Megan is usually quicker than Swifty Morgan. However, I didn’t hear about the eye damage until tonight.

RE: Cop’s marksmanship handicapped by injured eye.

I came to a different view when I saw the location of bullet wounds from the autopsy chart. It looked to me like the cop was initially attempting to wound rather than kill by aiming for the right arm and shoulder. When that wouldn’t stop Brown he fired the fatal shots to the head. This is pure speculation but it was my first impression.

Anything that helps this poor cop is trickling out at a glacier pace. This eye injury is a significant piece of the puzzle and for all the reasons in your post, mine & others. I first heard about it from someone who had a source who was essentially leaking it. I know the FBI didn’t want the local cops to release the robbery video, but they did it anyway & that changed a lot of perceptions. Now this .... MB was not “unarmed” ... he had two big strong arms, enough to severely injure this cop and that certainly changes the “gentle giant” picture, just as the robbery video shows he has no problem using his size to intimidate. Megyn is sharp, but she and some of the (few!) other fairly decent reporters need to start pulling this stuff together!

That’s what I thought. He was aiming to wound rather than kill.

The witness that saw Brown rushing the cop said the cop ‘musta missed’ because Brown kept coming, and Wilson might have assumed that as well. Either that or the guy is seriously drugged up. Normal person gets shot they are shocked and on the ground in pain.

Plus, all this is happening - from getting punched, recovering, “Freeze”, argued a bit, then charge, REACT. Matter of a couple of seconds from the time Brown charges to the head shot.

I thought about that too, but then I lean toward he just missed center, due to pain and vision impairment, and a moving target fast approaching. I doubted the officer had time to try to wing him under these circumstances. Defensive adrenaline brought the rest rapidly, until the officer could see the target finally down.

I’m still amazed Megan’s interviews omit relating the vision impairment and pain as a reasonable cause for the “excessive” number of shots.

I think it explains the number of shots fired. Officer Williams couldn’t see.

It's impressive that Wilson hit no bystanders and zapped Brown 6 times. That's what I call gun control, even in extremis.

Here Dorian says the shot in the car hit Brown in the arm:

Lot of b.s. in the interview. Biggest at 8:10 that it took the Officer 2-3 minutes to get out of the car. He obviously got out seconds later.

Lies at 9:05 saying Wilson shot Brown in the back.

the car shot was in brown’s hand that was grabbing for the gun.

he could walk/run away with a hand injury.

Ask the LEOs and those who know LEO procedures if they pull their gun and have to shoot if they’re just trying to “wound” somebody. The LEOs I know will answer ‘no’. Also, just trying to wound MB because he was unarmed doesn’t hold water (in my book) - MB was not “unarmed” .... he had two big strong arms and he’d already used them to destructive effect. With the eye injury he’d already sustained, this cop was seriously afraid for his life and for sure he didn’t want to take another blow to the eye/face/head. He was shooting to stop a charging MB in his tracks ... and that meant a kill shot. I’m speculating here, but I believe MB had his head down as he was charging .... that partially blocked his chest, but with a cop half blind and probably just shooting for center mass, the head was in front or close to center mass and thus the wound toward the top of the head. Just my 2 cents! :-)

I think so too! One shot is said to have gone off in the car, and yet six shots are also fired into the target. I didn’t quite get that.

Normal person gets shot they are shocked and on the ground in pain.

I've read - in interviews conducted with GI's and other Western troops in the field - that it doesn't hurt that much when the bullet hits, due to the body's pain killing drugs flooding the system. It's later on, when those chemicals wear out, that it starts hurting like a bitch. That's why some people who have been mortally wounded are able to kill their adversaries before they fall dead. The material I read is from the pre-internet era, but a google brought up a few sample accounts from people who claim to have been shot.

yes, that is obvious I just pointed out that that left 5 not 6 wounds that were inflicted later..
