Will this town ever understand how badly it’s been used? I know there were locals on the streets...but surely not the entire town. There has to be townspeople that stayed home...not wanting anything to do with this circus. Do those folks realize their town is just a stage for an perverted puppet show?
As I discussed at the link below, and the thread it is in, what and who is “local” is somewhat fuzzy / contentious.
That said, when you get right down to it, given the population of the St. Louis metropolitan area, the crowd sizes have not been impressive. If 100,000 protesters showed up, then I’d be impressed. That alone tells me most people in the locality have “stayed home”.
