Adolphus Pruitt, president of the St. Louis NAACP chapter, which has been encouraging witnesses to come forward, said Johnson’s false report case “doesn’t concern me.”

• Star witness falsely claimed shot in back.
• Family autopsy done by a person who is not a doctor, not certified by anyone but himself.
• Video of Brown robbing a store and getting physical with the store clerk.
• Pot found in Brown's system. Further toxicology reviews to come.
• Claims of Brown having a prior juvenile record including violence, theft, and even 2nd degree murder.
• Officer has a broken eye socket from Brown's attack.

Rule 609. Impeachment by Evidence of a Criminal Conviction

(a) General Rule. For the purpose of attacking the credibility of a witness, evidence that the witness has been convicted of a crime or an attempt of a crime must be admitted but only if the crime committed or attempted is (1) murder, treason, rape, robbery, kidnapping, burglary, arson, or criminal confinement; or (2) a crime involving dishonesty or false statement, including perjury.

The use of false name and theft convictions are both considered crimes of dishonesty. In other words, to most objective prosecutors, this guy is radioactive and they don't want him near the witness stand. Particularly since his version has been completely discredited by the autopsy report.

Well there's a question about that. Shawn Parcells, who calls himself a forensic pathologist, but is not a doctor, usually does most of the work. While Dr. Baden reviews the snapshots and reports and lends his name and credibility to the report.

Not clear how much Baden actually participated in this particular autopsy. Reports from St. Louis counties that have quit using his firm for autopsies, indicate that Baden's lack of involvement was a concern.
