Steve King Goes Off About Ferguson And The Congressional Black Caucus
Talking Points Memo ^ | 8/21/14 | TOM KLUDT

Posted on 08/22/2014 12:01:55 AM PDT by Impala64ssa

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) has a lot of thoughts about race in America, as he demonstrated in an interview Wednesday that touched on the protests in Ferguson, Mo., the "sin" committed by the likes of Rev. Al Sharpton and the "race card" played by the Congressional Black Caucus.

The conversation started during an interview with Iowa radio host Jan Mickelson, who observed that it's important to have "courage just to say what you see, and you can't worry about being called a racist if you're just saying what you see."

King agreed, and took the opportunity to address the unrest that's engulfed the St. Louis suburb since the the fatal police shooting of unarmed black 18-year-old Michael Brown.

Well, and that's something, seems to be I'm constantly in the middle of all of that. But the reason that I do step up and say these things, Jan, is because I think first of all we're a nation that is partially, at least our culture and civilization was built on a number of things but it was certainly built on reason and our ability to reason. And it emerged through our culture and civilization through the Greeks all across western Europe here to this continent. And if we had not developed a foundational civilization that's rooted in our faith and in our work ethic, in our morality and in our ability to reason we couldn't have ever developed science and technology, we couldn't have had a rational basis to do the things that we do. And so if this society is going to reject reason, and move towards an irrational society — by the way, it's irrational what's happening down in Ferguson, Mo. It's irrational. Even if their allegation is true, and the cop is innocent until proven guilty.

“Unarmed black”.... Really? From the looks of him it would seem he could’ve killed the officer with either one of those giant “arms”.... It also appears that he tried to.

They're always looking to divide people down that line. And I have friends in that (black) caucus.

Uh.... NO you don't Steve. You may think you have friends in that caucus.... But you don't.... Not even one and neither does America.

Steve King will find out what is meant when the media and the left say we need a national conversation about race. It’s a one sided conversation, and the rabble rousers have the script. King’s observations and opinions are not welcome.

<>I've watched them pit us against each other for a long time.<>

The Left knows the nature of republics far better than conservatives. THE way to destroy republics is to divide them into innumerable bickering factions. Get them at each other’s throats. When anarchy threatens, come down with overwhelming police state force.

Funniest thing King ever said was that he was friends with Schultz.

CUOMO: It’s a little bit of metaphor we’re having here. Democrat, Republican, you’re sitting next to each other, but you only talk to me. You could be miles apart. You know —

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Steve and I talk to each overall the time.

KING: And we are friends. We really are.

RIDING THE TIGER-- American Thinker - FR posted by ALtura Ct

Let there be no mistake, every American urban basket case has been under the control of liberalism for decades, and the pathologies they are now experiencing are only the prelude to what lies ahead when the civic cancer fully metastasizes.

Ferguson, and a thousand cities like it, have fallen down the rabbit hole because they have disregarded justice and are deficient in the moral accountability that must accompany human dignity.

These cities languish in their present hopeless condition because they are the stillborn children of the condescending liberal dream -- (Excerpt) Read more at americanthinker.com ...

Black street gangs playing the ‘knockout’ game aren’t ‘armed’ either, but a 300 pound black thug beating up an old vet or a pregnant woman can do a lot of damage.

Keep up the good work, who is worse the evil white racist you claim are everywhere in America or the kind understanding black hierarchy who are in charge of controlling thier own?

I can’t make the ‘search’ function work at American Thinker - do you have a Ride the Tiger link? Here’s another good one...

http://www.americanthinker.com/2014/08/ferguson_and_eric_holders_violent_past.html

As a freshman at Columbia University in 1970, future Attorney General Eric Holder participated in a five-day occupation of an abandoned Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) headquarters with a group of black students later described by the university’s Black Students’ Organization as “armed,” The Daily Caller has learned.

Department of Justice spokeswoman Tracy Schmaler has not responded to questions from The Daily Caller about whether Holder himself was armed — and if so, with what sort of weapon.

The first allegation right out of the box was that Brown committed a “strong Arm” robbery. That allegation was shown to be fact by the video of the act of literally using his strong arms to assault the shop keeper.

An avalanche of letters need to rain down---taxpayers should demand a readout of tax dollars being paid out in Ferguson to subsidize the rioters.....including Michael Brown and his family.

=============================================

TALKING POINTS---TAXPAYERS FORCED TO FINANCE DIRTY DEEDS--(the reasons why 144 countries are lining up at the border).

After the Boston bombing, Massachusetts Democrat Gov Deval Patrick refused to divulge info WRT massive public assistance to the bombers (prolly on Obomba's orders).

But state welfare officials were forced to come clean b/c the info is available to lawmakers. State Rep David Linsky called on the Mass Dept of Transitional Assistance to provide the info..... issuing an ultimatum, giving them 24 hours to provide the info.

The Boston Herald published the state's response: 'My office is working to fully comply with your request,' DTA interim commissioner Stacey Monahan wrote, saying they were only providing a summary 'given the great interest in this matter.'

Chechen immigrants Tsarnaev parents were eligible as legal, non-citizen residents who claimed "asylum" status and met the eligibility criteria for DTA, DTA interim commissioner Stacey Monahan said in a letter to David Linsky, Chairman of the Mass House Post Audit and Oversight Committee.

Multiple state agencies, at the prompting of Democrat Gov Patrick, refused to comment on the bomber brothers' welfare haul.

<><> WRT Tamerlan receiving UI benefits, Labor dept spokesman Kevin Franck refused to comment....

<><> Univ of Mass-- Dartmouth spokesman Robert Connolly refused to comment on the financial aid app of 19 -year-old soph Dzhokhar. 'It is our position - and I believe the accepted position in higher education - that student records including academic records and financial records (including financial aid) cannot under federal law be released without a student’s consent.'

<><> The FCC would not discuss whether the suspected bombers had govt-paid Obamaphones.

<><> Cambridge housing officials would not comment on if the brothers had Section 8 rental subsidy offered by the HUD to low income households.

==================================================

Benefits for entire family of bombing suspects likely exceeded $100k
WCRB ^ | 4/29/2013 | By Janet Wu / FR Posted by Alistair Stratford IV

BOSTON — State lawmakers have launched an investigation into whether the suspects in the Boston bombings improperly received public benefits. The House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight is reviewing hundreds of documents collected from state agencies that may have provided benefits to the suspects or their families since 2002.

Sources who have seen the 500 pages of documents sent to the House Committee on Post Audit and Oversight told News Center 5 that the entire Tsarnaev family, including:

(1) the two bombing suspects' parents,

(2) the two suspects themselves,

(3) their sisters,

(4) the widow of the suspect killed, and,

(5) their child.

Could also include benefits for the Chechen "students" who tampered w/ evidence (one Chechen is now in jail).

The Chechen cabal received "every conceivable public benefit available out there." (Excerpt) Read more at wcvb.com ...

I have come to the conclusion that the money is not being spent to subsidize the rioters, but to contain the rioters.

The fear that brought out the National Guard and induced Eric Holder to leave DC is that the rioting and looting will skip over the border into St Louis proper.

The incidents in Furguson are trivial compared to what they could be in the real city where the real hoods exist

They can continue to play the “unarmed card” if they want. All they’re doing is defending their own violent segment of society.

Fists are weapons, I don’t care what they say...

People in 'the community' who pretend they don't know fists are weapons are liars. They know - it's why criminals in prisons work on 'bulking up'...

Liberal elite whites who don't know fists are weapons are gullible fools or liars or both...
