Probably for the best...
Imagine the disunity this will cause in the team.
None will dare to say it publicly, of course, that would mean the end to your career. You cannot speak ill of the gays if you have ANY public profile now, but you can fight and kill dogs in the NFL and still be considered “upstanding”.
What! Too many end runs?
That’s why I think the NFL made a deal with St Louis, as they are a team that is looking to move.
He's lobbying for a career in television. Simply put.. "he needs a job". Somebody.. anybody?
Sure. If it’s for a legitimate reason. If the other guys are better than he is, who can argue? If it’s clear, then there should be no issue. I can only see a problem if Sam is arguably better than someone that makes the team ahead of him...
I thought this was predicted from the get go, that he probably wuldn’t make it.
Bull. He WILL make the team. Just like “12 years a slave” made best picturewhen no one watched it.
Agreed. Even though it’s the same stupid attempt at a joke, somebody always posts it, no doubt thinking he’s being the life of the rhetorical party...like nobody has ever thought of or seen this same lame attempt at humor (or some variation thereof) a hundred times before.
Michael Sams is NOT able to compete at the NFL level. I believe he’s aware of that.

That may very well be true, as Sam has only averaged one QB sack per game this pre season.
No way he gets cut, the NFL wants a gay player soooooooo bad. If anything Sam will be put on the practice squad and another liberal team will pick his fruity ass up.
He’s gotten more sacks than anyone else on the team thus far. One less than the combined total of his teammates.
All in the fourth quarter going up against the scrubs.
