THE beheading of American journalist, James Foley, at the hands of ISIS militants shocked the world but forensic experts have revealed the video was probably staged, with the murder happening off camera.
The UK Times reported that an international forensic science company, which has worked for police forces across Britain, said there is no question Foley was beheaded but that camera trickery and post-production techniques look to have been used.

Wow this takes me back to Dan Rather, and his fake papers. Dan eventually did admit the papers were fake, but the event REALLY DID HAPPEN or so he insisted. It's fake but real.
So the Dan Rather defense is at play here. I am suppose to believe ISIS are perfectionist when it comes to beheading videos??? Give me a break!
Maybe I’m just dense, but what would the point of this be?
I could see him dying of natural causes, and them putting together various things to make it seem like they killed him, to terrorize the US, which appears to have worked. Our “leaders” are acting hysterical over ISIS, maybe because they know Obama will do nothing.
Taking a guess... They wanted an English speaker to show that Westerners are joining ISIS but the guy didn’t actually have the stomach to decapitate someone.
Just speculation, but its possible that the scum told Foley that they wanted him to make the statements he did, with sincerity, and that they were not going to actually kill him at that time. Then when they actually did kill him he may have gone off-script. So they cut that part out (sorry).
Bingo! It does not add up.
I believe Foley stated that, when he was held captive previously, “mock” executions were a regular part of his torture......others held by Islamist murderers have said the same thing. It may be that Foley was used to the fact that his captors had employed this tactic on him in the past and had ‘hoped’ that the same thing was happening......
It’s hard to come up with good reasons why this would be fake AND real.
Also, I have read contradictory things about Foley.
In one account he was an Islamist sympathizer and took left wing positions on US issues.
In another he sent an oral letter (through another captive and if it is to be believed) to his parents that sounded like something a Christian might say.
Anybody know the real story on this guy?
