Ten years from now—or less—people will have very little commonality in culture and history of the US.

We are already there. More than 50% of Americans and Illegals do not identify as American. This in itself is the death of American culture. If you want evidence, go into any national box store or any ATM and you will see the use of foreign languages, not for foreigners, but residents of America. Worse yet, our government operates in multiple foreign languages. America is a Tower of Babble that is crumbling down.
