Larry Sabato: Will there be a GOP wave in the Senate—or a wipe-out?

So where’s the wave? This is President Obama’s sixth-year-itch election. The map of states with contested Senate seats could hardly be better from the Republicans’ vantage point. And the breaks this year—strong candidates, avoidance of damaging gaffes, issues such as Obamacare and immigration that stir the party base—have mainly gone the GOP’s way, very unlike 2012.

Nonetheless, the midterms are far from over. In every single one of the Crystal Ball’s toss-up states, (Alaska, Arkansas, Iowa, Louisiana and North Carolina), the Republican Senate candidate has not yet opened up a real polling lead in any of them. Democratic nominees have been running hard and staying slightly ahead, or close to, their Republican foes.

Long analysis, but he still predicts the GOP regains control of the Senate and keeps the House.

It’s real simple, Larry.

1) Pollsters always cook their books to keep the Democrats afloat.

2) None of us out here are overly enthused about turning out to vote for this RINO party.

If they don’t snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, there’s a good chance of it.

Whatever will our failed, “follow from behind” CIC Obama do about ISIS?

IMHO, Muslim Commander in Chief Obama will follow the BENGHAZI RULE.

The field-tested, Clinton-Obama Benghazi Rule is as follows:

1.) ALWAYS STAND DOWN WHEN MUSLIMS ATTACK;

2.) WAIT FOR THE MUSLIMS TO FINISH THEIR BLOOD SPORT KILLING;

3.) DO NOTHING.

BTW, BTW, how much longer will Speaker “Blank Check” Boehner keep Obama on as his personal CIC?

____________

Muslim Obama or Catholic Biden - - - who would be the better CIC to combat ISIS?

If both these White Hut cowards resigned, then Speaker Boehner would be the next in line for CIC!

Obama, Obama, he’s our Man!
If he can’t do it, Biden can!

Biden, Biden, he’s our Man!
If he can’t do it, Boehner can!

Boehner, Boehner, he’s our Man!

I think what is happening is that most people are so disgusted by politics that they simply do not care whether their elected “representatives” have a D or an R after their names. Either way, they expect more of the same.

I’m just another goofball posting on the internet, but I see a modest gain for the Republicans, the Dems keep the Senate.

Either way, they expect more of the same.

And they are going to get it. Either way.
