California history textbooks will now be asked to cover "the significance of President Barack Obama's election," under a law signed this week by Gov. Jerry Brown.

If it were really that significant...and so beneficial...would they need a law to make it happen?

The significance of the disaster of Obama election can be likened to the earth quake that destroyed San Francisco and took many lives.

Since the city was rebuilt the quake further points to human folly of not learning the lesson that a large quake or elected incompetent can do great harm. The people of California did not learn the lesson and would reelect Barack Obama and Jerry Brown.
