Iranian military leaders have openly boasted that they have begun to send weapons to Palestinian Arab terrorists in Judea and Samaria and elsewhere in the region, the Washington Free Beacon reported Thursday.

The report quoted a top Iranian military commander who confirmed that weapon shipments to Judea and Samaria have already begun and that more will be sent to other “Palestinian resistance groups.”

“Arming the West Bank has started and weapons will be supplied to the people of this region,” Brigadier General Mohammad Reza Naqdi, the commander of Iran’s volunteer Basij force, told the state-run Fars news agency on Wednesday.

The announcement was made after weeks of inflammatory statements from Iranian leaders threatening war on Israel and promising to rearm groups such as Hamas so that they can continue their war on the Jewish state.

This would be a good time for the Israelis to attack Iran’s nuclear sites. All the other chaos and bloodshed going on could serve as a smokescreen.

Netanyahu has been weakened politically by Israel’s failure to achieve a clear strategic victory in Gaza. Nearly two million hostile Palestinians remain ina self governing militarized adjacent enclave. Iran and Qatar have made it clear that they will be rearmed with more sophisticated and stealthy missiles.

If Netanyahu senses his tenure as Prime Minister is ending he will attack Iran. Not because he wants to rally political support to stay in office, but because this man truly believes that unless he eliminates the Iranian nuclear threat, his public career will be a tragic failure. He will not leave this sacred responsibility to the next government.

Obama and the American Left have dismissed the apocalyptic threats of the bizarre theocratic Iranian dictatorship as mere rhetoric. The leader of Israel, who’s life has been defined by the protean effects of the Holocaust, does not have the luxury of dismissing the the threats. Netanyahu by nature of his office is the secular leader and defender of the Jewish people. despite world opinion and even condemnation, he will do what is necessary to protect Israel.

However they normally do it. Some guy goes through Chalchul in a truck, throwing guns out the back? Then does the same thing in El Aroub...

As for nuclear subs, they can’t launch F-16s or take them in for a landing. When they come with flight decks, they’ll be able to take out Iran’s multiple, deeply-bunkered-in-hardened-concrete reactors, or at least those we know of. A missile can’t do it unless you have intelligence that already has pinpointed exactly where everything is, which might be reliable for a limited time, say a month?
