difficulties due to his birth in Canada and his Cuban father

only w/ loony lefties.  If he were a dem then it wouldn't matter if he was a Kenyan citizen w/ a communist mother, a Kenyan father, have no birth certificate, and be on record as being a Muslim Indonesian.

His US Citizen Mother bestows “US Natural Born Citizenship” regardless of where his birth took place. Does not require both parents being US Citizens. This is a non-issue that has been long settled.

Perry was handed an unfair card with the conviction though,

************

I’m assuming you meant ‘indictment’ and not conviction. Major difference.

Because that’s where his expertise lies and when you love something, that’s what you do.

Then why did he become a Senator?

That’s how you get around. And it’s not like judgeships are available to all. Look at his history.

Sure, because the Senate has been the traditional path to being Attorney General or a judicial bench.

Crus wants to be president. Cruz is running for president. God willing, Cruz will be president.

Yes, but there’s something different here. He had dual citizenship. He just gave up his Canadian Citizenship a couple months ago.

It has long been settled, and long-time freepers have gotten the Zot! for persisting in questioning Cruz eligibility. This is not something that FR needs to rehash.

Cruz is eligible.

Maybe Cruz/Perry, though I’d prefer Cruz/Palin. Putting Perry at the top of the ticket is a sure way to get this Texan to vote 3rd party.

Actually, you can’t have Cruz/Perry. They are both from the same state, so Cruz/Palin it is!

NOOOOO, we need Cruz as President immediately! No one has the breadth of knowledge and quick logic of Ted. Perry, by picking two McCain advisers, promises more of the same. I don’t know what you think, but I don’t believe that America has time for a good guy who has the bad judgment to select two miserably failed establishment advisers. Bob

Pres and VP cannot be from the same state.

Gov. Palin would be an obvious choice for Energy Secretary. I would love her as VP OR President, but she would be a distraction from Cruz’ message. Maybe a bright guy such as Tim Huelskamp for VP.
