Taking out the moon rock in Mecca, plus Medina with small thermonukes during the Haj without warning will not get muslims together. Rather, it will have the opposite effect.
The prime tenant of Islam is that allah is absolute, managing everything down to the molecular level. And is therefore the true god.
Allowing his sacred rock to be nuked would prove to muslims that allah is a false god, and they would all convert to Christianity, Judaism, or atheism.
There was an article to this effect back in 2001-02, after they hit NYC, by some reporter who interviewed known muslim fighters (in Iraq?). They were asked what they would do in the event that Mecca and Medina were nuked by the US. As far as they were concerned, Islam would be no more, having been shown to be a false religion. (I no longer have the article referenced).
Interesting ... wish had seen that article. Wonder if bunker busters would suffice to have the same affect? Could see where nukes would do the job of inhalation but if bunker busters would have the same affect and the effects would be similar would like that also. Will search for the article mentioned. Sorry, I can’t cut and paaste on this device, but destroying the Kaaba in Mecca is a goal of ISIS. They believe it is an idol and their God forbids them. The Saudis are evidently fearful it may be attempted. Google ISIS destroy Mecca and you will get numorous articles, FOX News, HuffPo, and many more.
