Kansas “Moderate Republicans” are left-wingers in every sense of the word (and, in fact, are often more left than a lot of KS Democrats). Having a regular Democrat leftist, and a RINO Independent leftist will ensure Roberts being reelected.

Despite the RINO love he’s getting, Orman isn’t a RINO or ex-RINO (at least not that I can find out) , he briefly ran against Roberts as a democrat in 2008 before dropping out.

Look for pressure to build on the official democrat to drop out. If he doesn’t the party won’t support him, like with Meek in Florida in 2010.

With Taylor dropping out of the race, Roberts may not squeak by now.
