ISIS or ISIL? There is a BIG difference! By Thomas Madison
I posted this peculiarity last week. It has become increasingly conspicuous, annoying even, that while the rest of the world refers to the cockroaches beheading innocent people, including children, across Syria and Iraq, as ISIS, or IS, King Hussein, and the rest of his administration insist on referring to the lice-ridden scumbags as ISIL.
“Tomaytoes/tomahtoes?” Hmmmmmm, I don’t think so. If you look closely at the literal, geographical difference between the two acronyms, it appears that there is much more to the story.
ISIS is an acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which includes only territory within the clear borders of those two sovereign countries. ISIL is an acronym for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
The “Levant” includes Israel.
Ostensibly, anyone referring to this nest of rats as ISIL, and only as ISIL, while the rest of the civilized world refers to them as ISIS, is denying the existence of Israel, a point much harder to support had not that talking point made its way to every official mouthpiece of every agency and department within the federal government.
Iraq appears inconsequential in the Levant.
The Levant appears to be about the eastern Mediterranean.
No I didn’t look it up, but I recall someone recently mentioning that the Levant included what is now Syria, Jordan and Israel.
It wasn’t but a few days until I noticed that the occupier used the term ISIL when everyone around him was saying ISIS.
Huh. Doesn’t he want to honor an Egyptian goddess?
Then it hit me, he wants to subtly* assert that the beheaders have dominion over Israel!
*I’m given to understand that the word subtle was derived from the word Thuban, the ancient name of the brightest star in the constellation Draconis, the dragon, the symbol of that most subtle Prince of Lies...
Indeed. I had noticed the continued use of "ISIL", but failed to make the connection.

It is worse than that. ‘Levant’ doesn’t just include Israel but also Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt. Libya, and Turkey- It’s the Caliphate of the Ottoman Empire.

I prefer more simply as Islam or Islamists, being inclusive any anyone swearing allegiance to, supporting, or apologizing for Islam. It is not a recognizable religion, it is an orgy of hate and violence that has no place in anywhere. It should be rooted as we might any other cancerous infestation.
I recall that one of the first things that I knew about Barry was that he was close personal friends and was mentored by Domestic Terrorist Bill Ayers. It was apparent then that Barry had a deep affection and empathy for terrorists. So, his lack of any positive method of dealing with the current problems in Iraq is not a surprise. He’s been pretty upfront about his mindset. The only baffling thing is that so many voters were in denial about this.
