Uh..no...we were NOT unsuspecting...we were robbed at gun point by the dumblecrats and their executive.
Exactly.
We were/are in no way “unsuspecting” regarding the intentions of democrats (and some republicrats) to transfer our wealth to their low-life friends.
Friend running a project for the DOE in Oak Ridge TN reported having to “employ” two full-time Teamsters (yeah - “truck drivers” ) to “drive” a lawnmower at the federal facility one day a week up there ... since it was a engine-driven utility vehicle.
FDR (O’s hero just behind Mao, Stalin, and Che) spent zillions of dollars too. But at least he was honest enough to really use some of it for it’s stated purposes — TVA, Hoover dam, post offices and roads and bridges everywhere. And in the process, people could get work. FDR also stood up to America’s enemies. Today, seven trillion dollars are gone and we can’t see hardly any benefit, infrastructure or even temporary jobs, anywhere. And he’s find syncing and arming our enemies. Times do change, all rhetoric aside. And not all transformation is for the better.
