Over on DU there is not many they hate as much as Franklin Graham. I was reading a thread last year and the vitriol poured out on probably one of our premier rescue organizations was astounding.
It’s so sad. A man goes out and he is the first to pour massive resources into disaster areas like Haiti, often beating the red cross and going places even they won’t go, defying ISIS in Iraq, and the DU’ers go, yep, that’s the one to hate.
They are so lost.
Also interesting that no nation resembling the United States appears in Revelation.

Why do equate the last days with fear? True believers (the body of Christ) will be taken from this earth to be with Him before things get really bad.

Yea, relatively recent since Paul himself was a pre tribber. He counseled his churches to comfort each other with the rapture, and I dont see much comfort going through the tribulation... We can agree to disagree about the timing of the rapture, its not a salvation issue. But I don’t lightly dismiss others thoughts on the subject and admit I could be wrong with my pre trib views. It would be nice if other Christians would offer the same courtesy.

It will not get better unless a real miracle happens. And it is arrogance to think that America will just keep rolling forward, working its way through evil and coming out ahead. Why? I don’t see in the Bible where Americans are exempt from destruction - as have many countries/societies/powers throughout history.
I guess from a Christian perspective, I “think” that there are millions in China, Africa, Eastern Europe, etc that have not heard the Good News or are just starting to and will be saved. God wants them to at least get a chance to hear about Jesus so I think we have quite a bit more time before the end time.
And even though our Country shuns God and becomes more hateful to the Christian faith, plenty here too need Jesus and will be saved.
