I know Glenn Beck is not particularly popular around here but his “Obama National Anthem” and video (to the tune of the old USSR anthem) was one of the few welcome moments of humor during the 2008 election season:

It's an arrogant Russian your-property-is-my-back-yard mentality. Not all Russians of course. But a lot of them.
They have no understanding of liberty. They don't question what their media tells them. Their level of critical thought has been reduced by generations of drinking Vodka.

Other notably bad mentalities are for examples, the Muslim mentality, the American liberal mentality, which is up to about 40% of the US...etc.
The parvenu Russians have overtaken so much of NY. I sat at a dinner about a year ago with two Russians, an Italian couple and my husband. The Americans and Italians were horrified by the Russians’ poor manners - constantly slamming insults at Italian and American culture and bragging about their wealth (misbegotten, not doubt!)educational systems, etc. All while wearing gaudy jewelry and truly horrible tailoring - and I’m not that picky. The Italians, of course, looked beautiful! Putin really fits in with this bunch of creeps.
Well - we have a Congressman who cries for no reason at all.

Say what you will, Putin is a Russian Patriot. He loves his land more than many on Capital Hill in Both Parties do our nation. For all we know, he might have mourned the Russians who died in battle in Ukraine. We do not know what is in his heart. But, this gives us a peek into his nature.
