Just to put that into context, that difference between rUK and iScotland is more than twice the difference in terms of population size and GDP than between the rUK and the USA, whose population and economy is over 5 times our size. The difference between rUK and Scotland will be 10 times your size. The question you have to ask yourself is this, do you want to help lead this beast or be dominated by it? If you place yourself outside of it, you will be dominated by it.
Does rUK retain its seat on the Security Council?
I would guess so, the only way we could lose that seat is if we voluntarily relinquish it.
Things are going so badly in Not So Great Britain that the Scots are thinking “They say things will get bad if we leave. How much worse could it be?”
Scotland/Great Britain ping
The socialist MPs they send to Westminster are part of the reason why things are bad.
Without Scotland, Cameron would have won a narrow majority, no need for a coalition with the Lib Dems. Cameron sucks but things would at least be a little better without Nick Clegg’s influence.
