I’ve NEVER had a problem before until this thread. Not flying much at all these days but if I do, it will be for a first class/business class ticket. At least then I can have some relief from potential assholes in the seat behind me.

You never had a problem because people like me were way too polite and didn't force the issue. Just because you can recline does not mean you should recline. The next time I have to fly and some inconsiderate person reclines their seat to the point where his/her head is just inches away from my face I will cough up a storm until thy are grossed out.
