Sunday on NBC´s "Meet The Press," host Chuck Todd took President Barack Obama to task for the optics of going golfing moments after his statement on ISIS beheading journalist James Foley. My husband is a 63 year old diabetic who is currently nursing a bad back injury - he had steroid injections in it and is better, but is still hobbling around in pain. He is a chemical engineer at Dow chemical Freeport Tx. He drives to Sugar Land Texas every day, about an hour drive each way. He works 14 hours a day. When his back was first injured and the pain was unbearable, he worked from home about 20 hours a day.
He is currently part of a group designing a new ethylene plant that will cost Dow several BILLION dollars. He pours over the drawing all day and all night, making sure there are no errors. We had to live in Claremont Ca 2012-2013 leaving our own home unattended/vacant for a year. That in itself is stressful and it was our 5th temp Dow Chemical relocation.
The only vacation we have had in the last few years, we drove up the coast from Claremont to Carmel Calif - we were living in Claremont. He hasn’t had TIME to play golf in years!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Obama has no idea what a real job is like. He never even worked at Target or delivered pizza, etc.

Some years ago, a FRiend of mine installed one of those electric dog fences in his yard. At first the dogs ignored it, and ran on through.
One day we are out on the deck enjoying a cold one, when one of the dogs made a run at the perimeter, and as she hit the buried electric “force field,” shot straight up into the air and did at least two, possibly three (no instant replay) flips, and landed on her butt!
I asked my FRiend’s wife what they had done, and she said that they turned the power up to “stun!” The dog never left the yard again!
They probably could rig up something like that at the Alcatraz perimeter, along with some claymore mines!
