All military cooks should dump their pork fats into the diesel fuel tanks for fuel. The muzzies may not like it but it is for the planet.

It seems he should have converted a “hog” for this. I guess Harley-Davidson doesn’t make diesel bikes.

He should take it to Mecca during the Hajj and spin donuts around the Ka'aba.

I would have been nervous riding around places where there were bears.

Has this guy seen the price of bacon these days?

I love bacon, but it’s been eliminated from my grocery list for the past two years.

Too expensive.

Durn! If that guy rode to San Diego from Minnesota sitting on that flimsy, bereft of padding seat, then he must have an “iron butt” and probably has deadened the nerves in his pelvic area.

“According to the Driven by Bacon website, “The fuel is an environmentally safe alternative to conventional diesel fuel. We turned about 275 gallons of bacon grease into 250 gallons of engine-pumping b100 bacon biodiesel.””

So how many pounds of bacon did it take to produce 275 gallons of bacon grease??? What was the cost per pound of bacon???

Today, fat from rendering plants and meat packers is sold to soap factories who use it as a base for making soap.

This is a pretty novel thing, actually.

Save money, help the environment, skirt gas taxes.
