A Republican Senate candidate in Oregon is bucking the GOP by embracing gay marriage in a new campaign ad.

The ad, from the campaign of Dr. Monica Wehby who is challenging incumbent Democratic Sen. Jeff Merkley, prominently features a gay couple — Ben West, of Portland, who filed a lawsuit in 2013 with partner Paul Rummell to overturn Oregon’s same sex-marriage ban that went into effect in 2004.

The majority of the Republican Party has opposed gay marriage, making Wehby a maverick in her party.

Sorry. She is not a conservative Republican. May be running as one, but no way.

I have thought from the beginning that she sounds very much like a Rand Paul Libertarian, who could pose a problem for real conservatives once she is in office.

I warned folks that her candidacy would be a fiasco, I was right.

She’s just another liberal republican that must be voted for in the general election, according to some.

She is probably the closest thing to a Republican that can get elected in Oregon.

Oregon is a marxist hellhole. I was there on business and it reminded me of a third world country with all of the leftists and sodomites. I was mugged in Portland by the ghetto trash that run that city. I was carrying and just flashing my gun was enough to make the thugs flee.

I think the one in MA or maybe that’s a candidate for Governor, is even more extremely left.

At least I am not in Oregon so I do not have to experience any guilt for not voting for her.

As if I needed more proof that the GOP isn’t getting as rife with degenerate filth as the putrid Dems.

Hope she loses the race.

Just spent two weeks in Oregon and it is one beautiful state. Too bad all the Californians that have moved there over the past bunch of years have ruined it. Going back this Sunday for another two weeks. This time will be packing if I can get through TSA.

Why not make this a strategy. If all Republicans say they are for gay marriage and abortion, they take the only two issues the rats have out of their hands.

When they win, they change to Conservative. Works for the rats, should work for the RINo’s.
