Military source: ISIS hostages dispersed after revelation of Foley rescue mission

After the administration released details of the July mission to rescue journalist James Foley and others in Syria, intelligence suggests ISIS dispersed the remaining hostages to multiple locations, making them harder to locate, a military source told Fox News.

In addition, the source added guard forces around the hostages doubled while widely publicized reporting about the scope of new aerial surveillance in the region caused ISIS to change its pattern of behavior on the ground.

"Any time you (disclose) very highly sensitive tactical information, you're giving away your road map if you will, your strategy," said Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas, who as chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee receives regular intelligence briefings. "It's very highly damaging to the hostages."

The details about the rescue mission were released by the Defense Department and National Security Council one day after a video was posted online Aug. 19 of Foley’s execution.

I have friends that work in the consumer electronics market. If you are caught talking about your project in the open (company elevator, cafeteria, etc) you are instantly fired, no exceptions. It is a condition of employment.

Too bad the same doesn’t apply with those charged with managing sensitive information.

What kind of idiot thinks he’s going to shore up his popularity by revealing his failures and disregarding the detrimental consequences? How many kinds of wrong can a man who has attained the highest office in the land be?

Do you think ISIS did not know there was a raid on the site when it happened?

I seriously doubt that there ever was a raid, but Obama's message to ISIS was clear: "Things are heating up, and it's possible someone might get mad enough to try and rescue the remaining hostages, so you better take care to hide them".

I’m sure they have a website or facebook page. Give them the suggestion to prosecute. I’m sure there are others who could join them.

“is it amateur hour or is it treasonous?”

Treasonous, indeed.

As far as I’m concerned, the GOP is just as guilty as 0bama & his Communist/Marxist/Muslim-loving administration for not forcing him out of office.

Is there not one man or woman in Congress willing to call for his impeachment & arrest?

For WWII some sensitive material was locked away for 50 years.

Now we have an administration that gives our enemies truthful advance notification of strategy, but lies to our citizens.

“Are we powerless?”

That is the 60 billion dollar question right now.

We are the ones who decide it.

Will we be so wrapped up in reality shows that we ignore one of the most pressing questions in our own reality?

Do you know if the claim that money changed hands in the Bergdahl swap was ever proven? That would be critical to such a lawsuit.
