Defense Department and National Security Council. You know, I always wanted to be a part of the CIA piecing info together, but I know I have a big mouth. What do I do? Talk to people. So, whoever is not following protocol and releasing this kind of information that not only puts the hostages in MORE danger it also compromises future missions, should go into customer service where you can actually help people by giving them ALL the information they need. I hear eBay is hiring. You can work from home. %%^&@! idiots.

He said it on purpose to let ISIS know there was a split in the US government, that the military regards ISIS as an enemy even though the White House supports them.

Obama will never be confused with Churchill. However once a rescue mission was launched and failed, ISIS had a pretty good idea that the US had some however faulty intelligence assets, the military capability to launch such missions and they ISIS would be absolutely foolish if they did not alter their tactics and procedures.

I have friends that work in the consumer electronics market. If you are caught talking about your project in the open (company elevator, cafeteria, etc) you are instantly fired, no exceptions. It is a condition of employment.
Too bad the same doesn’t apply with those charged with managing sensitive information.

For WWII some sensitive material was locked away for 50 years.
Now we have an administration that gives our enemies truthful advance notification of strategy, but lies to our citizens.
