The NFL is hiring four women to serve as advisers in shaping the league's stance on domestic violence, according to a memo from commissioner Roger Goodell to the 32 NFL owners sent Monday.

The full memo, via Daniel Kaplan of the Sports Business Journal, can be read here. The gist of it is that the league attempting to change the outside perception of how it handles domestic violence and, hopefully, an earnest effort to change the actual process internally.

Yes, let the NFL be run by people who hate football.

After they've eliminated any reason to watch football, they can move on to the next soft target.

From here on, NFL players will have to get written permission to initiate relations with a female. The policy won’t apply to Michael Sam.

“Where does this end?”

It will end with the National Soccer League.

Women need a remedial course in using the Easy Bake oven.

they don’t have supra rights to physically attack another human being without jeopardy.

Why is the league "handling domestic violence" at all?

Possibly because in a Capitalist system the purpose is to sell your product. If certain individuals are causing loss in sales you need to deal with it. They own the franchises and have the right to determine who represents them.

I'm disturbed that the Ray Rice situation was a done deal. He did his court-approved counseling and his penalty was meted out. Then, the NFL changed their minds because of the media.

The NFL is letting the media and women's groups that are never going to accept football anyway set the tone. The pandering, at the expense of their own players, is what will destroy football.

window dressing. This is what happens when they ignore their core audience and try to expand by changing what drew the core audience to begin with.
Why even play games, just have computer generated fantasy stats and leagues where women can pick their favorite dates.

“Women slapping men in the face? Allowed. Men hitting women? Banishment.”

Sounds like a sport where the scorekeeping and rules are all messed up.

I dumped it long ago when they started making owners interview coaching candidates based on race. The NFL is a social engineering experiment for liberals now.

Fox reported tonight that the NFL has added a “Vice President for Social Responsibility.”

No extra points for guessing what issues they tackle next.

As eventually is every institution that has the capacity to reach large audiences. Just like the gays love a parade, the progressives are always looking for the highest soapbox, and largest microphone from which to preach at us from.

I watch baseball now, as it is not quite popular enough to have caught the leftists' attention as a method to push their excrement to the masses.

This puts all the B.S. we have heard about women in the military into question. I recall we used Pugil sticks training in the Army. The idea was to beat the crap out of the other guy without actually killing him. Do they still do that? And if so do they match woman against men? Are not women equal and have the same training as men? Or is this all a bunch of P.C. nonsense we have been fed for the past several decades.
