The United States government is sending thousands of military troops to the west African nation of Liberia as part of the Obama administration's Ebola virus-response strategy, the White House said late Monday night.

....'A general from U.S. Army Africa, the Army component of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), will lead this effort, which will involve an estimated 3,000 U.S. forces.'

One of the American Doctors over there who came down with Ebola wasn’t even treating Ebola patients but was working in the obstetrics ward....

This is Obamas WMD against the country. 3000 troops exposed to Ebola means a greater chance of Ebola being brought into the country.
I wouldn’t put it past Obama to drop a Ebola bomb on a large city so he could declare marshal law.

Why not send POLITICIANS

I suggest the following ones:

Obama
Pelosi
Reid
Sheila Jackson Lee!!!!!

And that’s just to start.

the Obama administration's Ebola virus-response strategy, the White House said late Monday night.

PResident Obola might have some larger plan in mind to infect the military and then send them against ISIS.

(He is such a strategic thinker....)

Just more proof of the disdain for the USA from Obama and his thugs. Get the GI’s infected so they can come back and spread the disease among their families, unbelievable. American fighting men are trained to kill and destroy, not change bedpans.

I suppose they will all be African-Americans troops to reflect the local racial makeup. ...... I believe the Race Baiters said the local police force in Ferguson, Missouri was TOO WHITE and SHOULD HAVE reflected the race of the local population. One would assume that would hold true for providing medical care and security.

I am not sure who the braniac thought this strategy out was but can you imagine the political nightmare when the first American soldier catches Ebola?

Unless those troupes are going to quarantine those countries, this is not war and parents are going to be more than pissed at their children being exposed.

They are going to be pissed even before the first one catches it. Even with control of the news outlets the optics are a nightmare of democrat stupidity with even one mistake.

This is INSANE! Our soldiers are completely disrespected by DemonRATS. They are our treasure and the DemonRATS can't find enough ways to squander that treasure. Obama and Jarrett are sending them to face a microscopic enemy and when they get sick, the VA is going to cure them? It's a suicide mission!

They’re not going to fight Ebola. They’re going to protect American assets that are currently in place. Their function will primarily be logistics and hospital building.

Medics and Corpsmen with funds taken from the Afghanistan drawdown which may leave more equipment for the Taliban. 2 birds with 1 stone for this administration.

I am so upset about this.

I’m mad as hell right now, and I don’t even have sons in the military. Good thing that I don’t because if I did, I would be on my way this morning to DC. Our border is wide open, heads are getting lopped off, the MB is in the White House, “ISIS is not Islam”, and he sends troops to Africa to fight germs. The man is insane and needs to be stopped.

This strategy was the Brain Child of Sergeant Markoff (aka Obama) of the movie Beau Geste. Brian Donlevy won best supporting actor for his role in 1939.
“Brian Donlevy shows up when the brothers are in the French Foreign Legion, and it is pretty clear exactly who Sergeant Markoff is going to be from the outset. Sergeant Markoff is evil, cruel, and sadistic. He is part of the legion only for his own sick satisfaction as well, as his own personal gain. Donlevy never tries to hide this fact in his performance, and he plays him as completely evil from beginning to end.”
What I remember most of the movie is Markoff sending his men up to the observation tower, one by one, so that they would be shot by the attacking Arabs.Loved the movie when I was a kid.

You people must be kidding.
1. You seem to think it is perfectly fine to send soldiers to kill people but not to save lives. That is messed up.
2. You realize that 200,000 people from these infected countries have American Visas? Yes Ebola IS a bigger more immediate threat to Americans than ISIS. However, ISIS should have been stopped MUCH earlier too. You act like having a few highly disciplined, trained troops sent for containment, somehow radically increases our risk over an uncontained epidemic with the potential of a hundred times as many untrained, undisciplined people spreading the disease. Really?
3. Containment in an epidemic can require force. If you have done much of any reading on this you would know those West African countries are NOT able to manage the situation. If someone doesn’t manage it, everyone is in danger. The America military is trained for this, and is the best suited, most available force to do so.

It’s a cover for ISIS action or perhaps 3000 infected soldiers returning to America is a good thing?

What are they going to do, shoot everybody with Ebola?

Because unless they are, there is no reason to send them there.

"It’s a ploy to get the republicans to impeach him. He wants the pubbies to look extreme."

No danger of that. Boehner would get Ebola before he would authorize an impeachment vote. He**, he already has a case of Obola.
