The suspect in the killing of a trooper and the critical wounding of another outside a rural barracks is a survivalist...
Eric Matthew Frein, 31, of Canadensis, Pa., is still armed with the .308-caliber rifle that he used to open fire on the barracks late Friday, State Police Commissioner Frank Noonan said at a news conference where he revealed the suspect's name.
Noonan called Frein "extremely dangerous."

Maybe, but I somehow doubt it. If so he just effed them too.
No trial, no evidence, simply the word of the police that he is a suspect and you want him to blow his brains out?

For those who feel like E. Pluribus Unum you might want to keep this in mind, In our system of justice a person is innocent until proven guilty and declared guilty by a jury of his peers.
If he’s not guilty, then blowing his brains out wouldn’t be the right thing, would it?

Sounds like, unless the cop and the DA were lovers, the police don't have much of a case.
They still haven’t caught Eugene Palmer yet; he killed his former daughter-in-law in NY (Rockland County, I believe) two years ago then fled into a state park where he had worked for years. He’s in his 70s, diabetic, and still outran the hounds brought to find him (they had his scent from his abandoned truck and eventually crapped out from exhaustion).

Leaving behind the soc. sec. card is weird. If it was in his wallet and the wallet was left behind, that would be more plausible... the guy ditched everything and walked away. Otherwise why? Is it his vehicle? Wouldn’t that be enough?

Ours are locked in a fire resistant safe which is bolted with concrete anchors to the foundation of our home, right next to our passports and certified copies of family bith certificates.
It’s under key AND combination lock. Anyone trying to steal that will either have to torch it open they destroying the contents or literally pulling our house apart.

He did, from the sounds of it, however, forget to roll down the windows, and the car simply floated.
Could just report the car stolen. Be a lot easier.

We also have pre cut pieces of 3/4 inch plywood sized to fit all the first floor windows and doors with pilot holes pre drilled to hit the studs. I can have them up inside of thirty minutes should local conditions dictate.
Got a few other surprises for anyone who thinks they can hang around long enough to work their way through the defenses. Just used my imagination.
