Sounds like he is either playing "catch me if you can" or some other whack-job is playing "frame me if you can."

I couldn't even tell you where my social security card is under torture.

Same here.

When I applied for S.S. at 62, they wanted to see my DD214, I searched high and low and couldn't find it. Eventually I sent for a new one. If you're a vet and nearing S.S. age, I suggest you start looking for yours.

Ours are locked in a fire resistant safe which is bolted with concrete anchors to the foundation of our home, right next to our passports and certified copies of family bith certificates.

It’s under key AND combination lock. Anyone trying to steal that will either have to torch it open they destroying the contents or literally pulling our house apart.

Not that I’m paranoid or anything....

It's like a spoof of a Columbo episode. Maybe the one where Dick Van Dyke played the photographer who tried to frame the ex-con.

Who keeps their social security card loose in their vehicle?

I have not seen my ss card in years, but I highly doubt it is in my truck.

I last saw my social security card when I was in my 20's. I am 60 now.
