Ferguson demonstrators stormed a St. Louis County Council meeting on Tuesday evening and threatened more violence and to shut down St. Louis Rams and Cardinals games if the officer who shot Michael Brown to death is not arrested or indicted. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that "protesters demanded the arrest of Darren Wilson, the police officer who shot 18-year-old Michael Brown to death on a Ferguson street five weeks ago, the removal of County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch from the Brown case, the resignations of County Police Chief Jon Belmar and Ferguson Police Chief Thomas Jackson and accountability from the elected county legislative arm."

Didn’t know it was them. I was ‘speaking’ generically.

The only reason this story got quieted is because demoncrats and their media saw a backfire happening. They have put it off until January.

They may have created a monster that will make November very ugly for them.

Don’t know about threatening the Rams game, but I don’t think messing with the Cardinals is a very good idea. The number of police present during Cardinal game is amazing. I believe the powers-that-be in St. Louis realize that the Cardinal franchise is one of the few positives that the city has going for it. Last Cardinal home game is this Sunday—Fan Appreciation Day. Should be a big crowd if Odille doesn’t rain it out.

I’ve never been to a Rams game and their stadium is right on the edge of ‘sketchy’ territory, so the Fergusonians might have more luck messing with them. Pro basketball left St. Louis for Atlanta decades ago. Of course, there’s always the Blues hockey games to disrupt.

It’s amazing what you can get away with in todays America when you are a pseudo-victim.

Stop the Rams game?
If Ram fans are anything like Raider fans, this may not be the best idea.

At this point stopping the Rams season would be a mercy killing.

Ferguson is in St. Louis County, but the city of St. Louis is not. It is independent. Why should events in the city be disrupted because of what happens with the county government?

Well, with Holder, Sharpton, Jackson and the national leftist media cheering the mob on, what do you expect from a bunch of racists agitators. “We want justice and we want it now!” Sounds like a lynching to me.

Well at least since they cut Michael Sam, it won't be homophobic.

Missouri has elected the deceased before. I couldn't believe the ‘I'm still with Mel’ bumper stickers after he died before the election in 2000 (was his campaign slogan before he died, became hilarious after he died). But they voted for him, and his wife got his seat.

The part of the story I like - John Ashcroft lost his senate seat to Mel's carcass. Not all was lost, John became the hated attorney general to George W Bush. He never would have been the AG had election laws been followed...
