It’s official: the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has issued an order declining a request for an en banc hearing in a case involving four students in at a California high school who were sent home for wearing American flag T-shirts on Cinco de Mayo.
The full slate of Ninth Circuit judges has thus agreed with a lower district court and with a trio of appellate judges that officials at Live Oak High School in Morgan Hill, Calif. could censor students who wanted to wear flag-emblazoned shirts.
The federal appeals court issued its denial of an en banc hearing on Sept. 17 — Constitution Day.
“[N]o further petitions shall be permitted,” the court ordered.
The trouble dates back to Cinco de Mayo (May 5) in 2010, when officials at Live Oak High — a school with a predominant Mexican-American student body — forced the students to remove their American flag-festooned shirts. Administrators called the shirts “incendiary” and worried that fighting would break out between white and Latino students if Latino students noticed the shirts. So, assistant principal Miguel Rodriguez told the students to turn their shirts inside out or leave school.
Students of Mexican heritage told local media that the students wore wore American flag T-shirts should apologize. They said ethnically Mexican students wouldn’t wear a Mexican flag on the Fourth of July (not a school day, but never mind).
The high school, located 20 miles south of San Jose, has experienced numerous gang problems. Nevertheless, the school seems to have organized impressive Cinco de Mayo celebrations in recent years.

Which translates to whenever Urban Feral felt itself to not have been given sufficient ‘respect’ violence is called for.”
I think the issue the Mexes have with gringos wearing the flag on May 5 is that it is seen as “disrespectful” to Mex pride. Personally I fail to see WTF there is to be proud of regarding Mex but whatever. Never the less there is huge problem when these kids choose to identify themselves with Mex rather than the US and are intolerant to anyone who shows pride in America.
It was a school of about 1,000 students and we were able to get about 1/3 to all wear Hawaiian shirts on the same day. What could they do? Nothing.

How is that proof? They can say what they want. If any American is that ‘thick’ that they would apologize for being an American, and NOT wear a t-shirt with the flag of all flags on it, then they essentially line themselves up WITH the invaders, through stupidity...and their allegiance to the Sheepledom.
On the other hand, it IS quite disturbing to see there are multitudes who are quite happy to sit back and let it happen.

Give me an example of what a feral creature deserves by way of “Respect”?
And, ‘dissed’? Sounds like the covert hiss of the serpent...when you say it.

They DID. That’s what started this. The students who wore their USAflag shirts to school on 5/5/2010 were sent home. That no doubt on 5/5/2015 will include suspensions on their records. Not helpful when applying to college.

IF this wre MNY kid-—I would hold them OUT of school that day & hve them sit on the front lawn in their shirts & with about 50 American Flags all around the front lawn.
Already, California has over 52% Hispanics. 35% (They think) of the entire census is illegals.
Time for people in California to wake up & shove them out or get the U-Haul truck filled up & head East.

I’m sure they have no problem displaying the Mexican flag on Independence Day or Memorial Day — if school were in session.
If your own country’s flag cannot be displayed, that’s called an invasion.

Army officer banned from entering daughter’s high school because his military uniform ‘may offend another student’
An army officer was not allowed to enter his daughter’s high school because he was wearing his military uniform.
Lieutenant Colonel Sherwood Baker was turned away from Rochester Adams High School in Michigan by a security guard because his army clothing may ‘offend another student.’
Lt. Baker, who has served in the Army for 24 years, was told if he wanted to enter the building to discuss his daughter’s class schedule he would have to go home and change his clothes.
‘Security told him men and women in uniform weren’t allowed because it may offend another student.’
Rochester Schools superintendent Robert Shaner, who is a veteran himself apologized to the family.
Shaner sent a letter to Fox 2 which says: ‘The district has apologized for any perception that individuals in uniform are not welcome in the school.
‘The district does not have a policy excluding individuals in uniform and will be working with administration and the firm that handles our security to make sure district policies are understood and communicated accurately.’
The Baker family has scheduled a meeting with the principal of Adams high school in the coming days.
So then the security guard was fired?
More and more I become convinced that we will need there to be a Second Civil War. IF we win that war, then there will likely be a Second Mexican-American War.
And the doofus O’Reilly is celebrating the decision. Rocks are three sigmas to his right on the Stanford-Binet scale.
