Would This Headline Shock You: EBOLA SCARE: ELECTIONS POSTPONED ………INDEFINITELY
September 16, 2014 ^ | Karl

Posted on 09/18/2014 8:03:39 AM PDT by HammerT

Or are you now just rolling with the punches?

Catherine the Great (Karl's better half) is a student of history too. And she recalls from her studies of the Spanish Flu that elections were postponed during that outbreak.

The November 2014 elections, only 49 days away, are cautiously predicted to be a Republican blow-out. Or, more accurately, a clear “no confidence” vote for the current regime.

If I were a) dishonest, b) power hungry with communist inspirations, and c) convinced I could get away with it - aka a Democrat - I too would postpone cancel the elections in the name of safety.

I think this one rates a Stage 3 ODS (Obama Derangement Syndrome). I explored Stage 2 in my original Ebola post: Suspend the Constitution?.

Personally, I still think this is a bunch of noise that will peter out. I hope you will join me in a couple months for a hearty laugh.

Influenza kills 250,000 - 500,000 humans EVERY single year. It seems that you might using the wrong disease for scare mongering?

1). What is the source of that factoid?
2). Are you also denying that Ebola is a threat?
3). Are you also denying that the postponing elections trial balloon has already been floated?

>>>Are you seriously denying Ebola or ISIS is a threat?

Some of us are pragmatic. Some of us remember the FACT that Clinton was going to do the same thing...suspend elections....run for a 3rd term....etc. The libs claimed Bush would do the same thing.

It's not that ISIS or Ebola isn't a threat...its just we've been down this road before and when you go down it a second time...it makes more sense to be circumspect than knee-jerk.

4). And are you denying that the Democratic National Communist party hasn’t been flouting the law and likes to use ‘crisis’ to further their agenda?

1. http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/2003/fs211/en/

2. If you live in the US, Ebola is only a tiny threat.

3. Postponing the elections because of Ebola is about the most loony thing I’ve read on FR.

Can you please address the point about the current threats facing the country?

And are you denying that the Democratic National Communist party hasn’t been flouting the law and likes to use ‘crisis’ to further their agenda?

1). From your source:

and between 250 000 and 500 000 deaths every year around the world. Most deaths currently associated with influenza in industrialized countries occur among the elderly over 65 years of age.

What does that translate to in terms of deaths in the US amongst the general population?

2). Are you also denying that Ebola is a threat? Yes or No.

3). That idea was already floated back in September 2011:

Perdue: Cancel congressional elections
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0911/Perdue_Cancel_congressional_elections.html

Are you denying this as well?

That’s the best response you could manage to elicit?

Seems like that more telling applies to you.

Nightly night, sleep tight….

Of course ISIS is a threat

BTW, the Democratic National Communists could easily decide that we desperately ‘need’ to postpone the elections (In which they will be soundly defeated) because of the threat of ISIS or an actual Terrorist attack.

Bev Perdue merely wanted to do the same based on the economy – ISIS and Ebola are even more serious reasons..

Not going to happen. Elections are the fig leaf used by the powers that be to give them a cover of ‘legitimacy’. Many people will see the elimination of that fig leaf as the signal that the time to start shooting the bastards had officially come.

There is a world of difference between ‘Postponing’ elections (indefinitely) and canceling them outright.

I would tend to agree that the outright canceling of elections would be a major tipping point.

But postponing them for little while .. until the powers that be consolidate their power might not be the same thing…. Their story could be that “we’re just doing this until the emergency is over”… and keep it on doing it until it’s advantageous for them to have them again.

(Even a Socialist Worker’s party lead by Hitler had elections – massively skewed they were – but they had them none the less)

If the election doesn't happen on schedule the Zombie Apocalypse starts. They know it. They'll retain their fig leaf to keep the people complacent, and believe that they continue to live in a "democracy".

I wouldn’t be too sure about that – couple some skewed polls along with the right type of crisis and the Democratic National Communists could try to pull it off.

The would of course concurrently start attacking the right and claiming their win could mean the end of civilization…… oh wait… they’ve already done that.. never mind.

I suggested this two years ago and was hooted down as a Crazy. It may happen. Obama must keep in power to keep out of jail. Only with the power of the presidency can he keep silent the many voices and witnessess to his coruption. He will do ANYTHING he can to keep Harry Reid in the control of the Senate. He will never leave the White House—He will be King Obama I, Thee MSM have crowned him. I only wish he was a better ruler. Even Hillary would be an improvement. Maybe Prince Harry needs a job?

Apples vs kumquats. A quarter million people a year haven’t been exposed to Ebola, either. If that happens, death rates will be multiples of anything even the Spanish Flu had.

I appear to be under going the same treatment.

Your points are well taken – first we had a member of the Democratic National Communist party suggest this and we have the massive cover-ups of wrong doing by the regime.

We don’t half of what they’ve done wrong and are covering up – most of them are going to be doing serious time if they are every out of office.

It would not shock me at all.

I would not be the least surprised that someone would find something somewhere to postpone indefinitely, the elections.

In answer to your question, we ended the Secession Movement in Maine because we do not believe their will be a Union to secede from on the scheduled day of the secession vote, June 12, 2018.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Because while you may be right, there still might be a Union to secede from. Nobody knows.
