I knew a Scot that was blue and had swarthy eyes...
“Where is that tribe”? in Washington DC of course.
“I knew a Scot that was blue and had swarthy eyes...”
Braveheart’s face was blue. I know, I saw it at the movies.
Most of my ancestors were Basques from Spain, too-my grandfather was swarthy, I guess- medium olive skin, black hair and dark eyes-I have red hair, gray/green eyes, my brother has my grandfather’s hair and eyes but the gray/green eyes and brown or red hair is more common in the family than the darker looks. The article shows we have been all mixed up for a lot longer than a lot of people thought...
The Basques also have the highest incidence of rh negative blood.
My Dad had very blue eyes but quite dark hair & complexion, so much so that my Mom’s family once thought he was Italian, although his forebears hailed from the eastern Poland/Ukraine region a lot of mixing going on over the centuries in that area, I’m sure.
The Basques may be the closest representatives of an aboriginal culture, but now in general Europe is becoming a Basket case...
Who the Fukawi Tribe?
Where the Fukawi tribe?................
> Darn Whitey done stole our blue eyes!
That’s gonna mess up Elijah Muhammad’s preaching on blue eyed devils!
Yes, but it still goes back to three main tribes. It is no surprise Europeans would find three unique DNA patterns. Negroid, mongoloid, and caucasian.
Sounds like a work in progress.
“we’re the fukawi”
Sorry for the late reply, but there’s an ongoing debate as to whether the mutation for red hair appeared independently in humans or was one of the genes we inherited by interbreeding with the red-haired Neanderthals.
That's right - just because the language is pre-Indo-European doesn't mean that most of the speakers aren't closely related with modern-day European people through interbreeding.
