Scotland is not and has never been a colony of England.
Dear The Scotsman, my awkward wording was ... awkward and it’s regrettable that it led to a misunderstanding.
However I did not call Scotland a colony, nor would I call Wales nor Ireland colonies.

I thought the Republic of Texas was going to break away from the Socialist States of America? With the depleted condition the US Armed Forces are in, policing the rest of the world, this might be a good time. But never forget what happened when Texas and the 10 other Southern States that voted for leaving big brother. Four years later with half million men dead they were dragged back in.
