How gender mattered in the rise and fall of Debbie Wasserman Schultz

That's really the only way to describe Politico's piece on DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

Based on interviews with DNC staffers -- both former and current -- the piece described Wasserman Schultz as something of a modern-day Tracy Flick: over-eager, disloyal and not shy about promoting her ambitions.

I had to excerpt this article heavily due to WP rules, but I thought the tidbit that Debbie Wasserman Schultz would not be welcome in Wisconsin again after her outrageous remarks to the Burke campaign was too delicious to omit. Go to the link for the whole article.

FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.

Well, I see that the Admin Moderator cut this piece even further although I had reduced it to less than 300 words. ???

This is the paragraph that I thought would be so delicious to Wisconsinites:

But it's that same red-meat-throwing ability that led her to go off-script, likening Republican policies to Jim Crow and more recently comparing the Tea Party and Scott Walker to wife-beaters, who "are grabbing us by the hair and pulling us back." (She later apologized; the Democrat trying to beat Walker, Mary Burke, said via "sources" that Wasserman Schultz would not be welcome again in the state.) So, the woman perhaps most responsible for putting the phrase "war on women" into the political bloodstream is also now responsible for taking the rhetoric too far.

LOLOLOL!

The situation for the DIMS must be dire if even the ComPOST has turned on DWS.

Sheila Jackson Lee would be one. Cynthia McKinny would be another.

When the buyer is done with the whore he simply walks away from her. Why would the democrat and it's party care about a two bit whore?

Look around folks there are plenty more Debbie Wasserman Schultz's just waiting for a chance to be used by obama ind it's ilk.

And in further serendipity, the Unions are bashing Scott Walker for his latest add where he is shown climbing a ladder out of a hole, reminiscent of the budget hole in which the state was left after the last administration. Scott says that he would continue leading Wisconsin forward (fiscally).

The unions are kicking up a fuss saying that Walker 1) wasn’t wearing a helmet 2) didn’t have reinforcements on the sides of his hole and 3) was using a non-regulation ladder. Therefore he was violating OSHA rules and (presumably) was a bad governor by implication.

Get a grip! This is an ad!

I have a college acquaintance who has land I sometimes hunt on. He never grew out of the politics of the left as could be found around colleges in the 60s. He actually got worse. You will find rags like The Nation floating around his cabin in the woods. And the BS that they spew is pretty much the tripe that DWS spews on a regular basis.

“I have rarely heard more dimbulb and completely-ridiculous statements from someone, as I have from DWS.”

And yet, until recently, the Dims were quite happy as their spokeswoman. Tell you a lot about the Dims, doesn’t it?

Aren’t you more surprised that I would hunt on his land.

It is a mutual thing. His hippie friends don’t hunt (they are shocked and appalled )...one of the few things he does that is real world not maxist pie in the sky (the rags left around tend to be a bit of a deal breaker). I get to hunt there. We both get along as long as we steer clear of politics. We enjoy watching DVDs (mostly SciFi )at night and drink sour mash and smoke a good cigar now and then.

Long-simmering doubts about D/W/S reached a peak after she criticized the White House’s handling of the border crisis.

HEARD THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE: disgruntled Dummycrats say these were the crack-brained ideas of D/W/S:

(1) advised Mexico President to go to California and declare it "another Mexico." (RESULT: a tsunami of 2014 voter polls indicate massive voter revulsion for Democrats);

(2) advised Obama to meet w/ Third World leaders; (RESULT: villages emptied--contagion, vermin and disease infect the USA);

(3) advised Obama to delay E/O amnesty to help nervous Democrats in tight Senate races. (RESULT: Obama on Mexican drug cartel hit list);

(4) advised Obama to put out the global welcome mat. (RESULT: slit-eyes jidahists from 144 countries stream in).

I don’t think Debbie is so much dumb as she is shameless. There’s no doubt in my mind that she doesn’t believe half the stuff she throws out there, but she will stop at nothing to push the meme. Nothing is to over the top BS crazy to toss out to the crowd. She figures that specifics will be forgotten in short time but the general meme (”war on women”) will prevail with enough such sensationalist repitition. It’s a strong tactic but Debbie takes it way too far and even those on her own side think she’s a self promoting nut burger who does more harm than good.

I think she was hired because O thought she would be easy to control and dumb enough to just rattle off his talking points. She didn’t read the entire memo and thought she was hired because she is brilliant, and saw this as instant success. She’s not smart enough to realize how dumb she is.

They should keep her. She perfectly encapsulates what the modern Democratic Party is all about. Her only flaw is having insufficient melanin to put her beyond criticism.

DWS doesn’t say anything that is anymore outrageous than the crap that spews from Pelosi’s mouth.....and she’s their go to gal in the House. Don’t know why they’d be happy with Pelosi and down on Debbie.
