I have trained with the SCA ... likely he would know how to use the sword in that case.

I haven’t seen any of Game of Thrones. I hear it’s good. I tried reading the book but found it incomprehensible. Maybe I’ll try again sometime. I’m not into SCA like this guy, but I have trained with ARMA. And I have swords everywhere. :-)

It's pretty good and keeps you interested. Just understand that, like most of the HBO series, it does have a lot of nudity - gives a sense of what reality was like, but could be offensive to some.
