One of the best women in America. She's 66 years old, got arrested for kneeling and praying outside of the civic center where the Satanic Black Mass was held.

She is about as aggressive as a throw-rug --- but as strong as conscience, and as unrelenting.

they're saying that because she didn't comply when they told her to leave, she could get 6 months. If that happens, we should end hundreds of bouquets of roses to the jail.

She WAS Joan Andrews. When she married she took the name Joan Bell. The article tries to make it sound like she’s hiding something. Before she adopted children she spent a lot of time in rescues, peacefully preventing the mill to open, and refusing to comply with the gears of the system that protects the killing.

Wait! Wait! Joanie has never seen a jail she could not defeat. Sure we should send her roses. OTOH, what about the poor prison guards and authorities? They are not ready for Joanie. Too bad that Fr. Weslin is no longer physically available to help and be there with her.

Seriously is that anyway to arrest a 66 year old woman - to ‘Chicken Wing’ her?

Meanwhile, hundreds of people gathered outside the venue to decry the ritual being held inside.

Decry? Is that a new synonym for cower? They should have all gone to the exact spot where Joan was hauled away and gotten arrested. I expect we will see more of these Black Masses across the country, especially if the media continues to report on them.

At the very least, I hope they stood vigil outside the jail.

Good find, btw!

I seriously think the Catholics are being trolled by this whole ‘black mass’ thing. Who cares what these jerks do so long as it’s lawful and not disruptive to anyone else?

Last I checked people in this country are free to worship whatever and whoever they want and it’s none of anyone else’s business so long as that worship doesn’t affect anyone else. And in this case there’s a case to be made that the people at the black mass have had their rights violated.

Joan, and the entire Rescue Movement were treated like scum by the Catholic bishops. Thus, the LAST opportunity to end abortion peacefully was passed up.

In the intervening years, the bishops have done all they have dared (after all, Rome SOMETIMES notices what they do) to encourage Catholics to continue voting pro-abortion. And, of course, they have campaigned ceaselessly to bring in more and more pro-abortion voters from abroad.

The Catholic bishops ensured that abortion would only end, someday, by violence. Violence that will certainly destroy the United States as a political entity, and very likely physically destroy the American people.

Thanks for the ping! [The late] Fr. Weslin was a champion for life, of course, and this woman reminds me of him, but for myself, my prayers in the Adoration chapel, hidden from the public eye, are the best Power source I know of. Years ago, Tom, our daughter, and I, went to the many marches we had in our area and made these simple videos and put them to music. YouTube has taken off most of our [well.... not “our”] music, but this video still retains its soundtrack, so I’m putting up the link because tomorrow’s Reading is in this tune, “Turn, Turn, Turn,” by the Byrds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_aV_4J7njZY

One of the things that I don’t get.

They have to get a consecrated Host in order to perform the Black Mass even though they don’t think the consecration is real.

What? That’s just....what?

If they want consecrated bread, the Methodists put it out for the birds every Sunday. Knock yourself out.
