So the Satanists believe in Transubstantiation?
If they are hard core driven by the devil AND if transubstantiation is true, that would be an explanation.
I think it’s simpler. The Eucharist is a special focus by Catholics. That’s why Satanists flout it. It’s like the most revered thing in Catholic worship.
Reformation Christians are a little more slippery target.. The bible is probably the most noticeable focus of their attention. Even though the crucified Christ figures very prominently to them, symbols of this Christ are not concentrated upon.
In other words, I think these Satanists are amateurs. They are about as serious as Halloween revelers. They get their jollies out of upsetting Christians and other people.
If they got serious about Satan, their demeanor would change. They’d be sneakier, subtler, and much more slippery.
