Nobody wants their apologies, but how about some help with turning the bad guys in.
Also, instead of apologizing, why not just quit. The religion isn’t a religion and it sucks.
If you have to not take your holy book seriously to be part of a religion why would you want to be part of that religion?
Ask them about the Jews and the true Muslim comes out.

I’d just like an acknowledgement from Muslims and their apologists that there is something about Islam which seems to produce a violent nihilism in some of its followers.
Puts me in mind of a local story here about a young man (20, I think) of Somali extraction who went off to Syria to fight with IS, and is now believed dead (good riddance). His parents are so shocked and disappointed, but maybe they should be asking just what is going on at their, or other mosques. Christians get hauled in front of human rights commissions for holding on to and proclaiming their (non-violent) beliefs about gays, for example, but apparently Muslims have carte blanche to preach hatred and violence in their mosques, and if we dare to investigate or criticize, we’re “Islamophobes”.

If they'd do more than apologize, they might get somewhere.
But until the take action in rooting out the cancer within, they're spouting nothing more than hot air and I'm not interested in their whining.
The apologies are misplaced. There is no need to apologize for the criminals and thugs of ISIS and the like. The apologies should be for the huge Muslim majorities that support them. That is where the problem lies.
The truth is that these savages are probably the most faithful representatives of what is really in the Koran.
In my humble opinion, we are being set up for a wholesale end-run around our Constitution that will result in any criticism of Islam as felony hate-speech.
Moderate Muslims are the grass.
Words are cheap. How about some action to stop them.
Now that is actually a very meaningful comment. What "Peaceful Muslim" man is saying is that he does not take the Quran seriously. Only the crazy whackjobs who are carrying out these acts or terrorism are taking the Quran seriously...
And therein lies the problem.
I acknowledge that most people who call themselves Muslims do not take the Quran seriously (Praise the Lord!). They are 'cultural Muslims', and they know the Quran says things that just cannot be accepted if you have a modicum of humanity coursing through your veins. The problem is that a 'minority' (say 10%) of Muslims taking their Satanic book seriously is still about 100M blood-thirsty murderers walking about.
So "Peaceful Muslim" - either do the right thing and leave your religion - and stop enabling this 'minority' of murderers... or recognize that you ARE indeed part of the problem.
all mulims read and believe in the same evil book...there can be no such thing as a moderate muslim....you are either muslim or not...
