Actually I think the attorney has a good point. There is no constitutional justification for the lockdown any more than there was one in Boston. Some civil disobedience and lawsuits are clearly called for.
Adults have the right to assume that kind of risk and the police do not have the authority to stop us.
There is no “lockdown”. People are out walking their dogs, taking care of yards, going to work, etc... no businesses were closed, and schools only closed if the school officials decided to do so. The only thing the police have closed temporarily off and on are certain roads going to the search areas. Even then, the roads are only closed for short periods of time and the police provide escorts if residents have an emergency at home or need to get meds, etc. The “shelter in place” is a safety advisory and not any type of legal order.
