All we need is to explicitly deny the 1st Amendment definition of the word "religion" to any group which teaches death, slavery or physical harm to non-believers.
And instead, legally rename such groups as terrorist organizations.
Of course, the problem is that that definition happens to include the teachings of collectivists, so they'll fight it tooth and nail to protect the legality of the Left.
I think a lot can be done with just concentrating on sharia rather than islam itself. Since sharia is an alternative legal system, it should have no legal standing in the US. Any action they take which complies with or to institute sharia should be dealt with harshly, including the legal breakup, seizure of assets, etc, that is done with other criminal networks.
