Some marketing genius at Microsoft thinks they’re falling behind because their numbers are lower than Apple, I’ll bet. “See? We’ve got a 10 too!”

Well, with the leak that Windows 9 would be a free upgrade for Windows 8 users, this is understandable.

LOL. Years ago I was on the interview team for a prospective new hire. He professed to have several years experience in a version of CICS that did not exist.

LOL! Did they announce a release date / window for this leap?

Late 2015, which is later than was expected. I was hoping to get whatever’s next on my next laptop.

Hmmm

Is it just me ... but my experience is that the odd number versions of windows were OK ... like 5 .. 7

But the even numbers were a dud like 6 (Vista) and 8, which I haven’t bought.

Hope this is not a harbinger that 10 will be a dud.

Just saying ...
