Some people are probably wishing the Redskins had changed their name when they moved from Boston to Washington.
They got the name because they played at Fenway, home of the Red Sox. At the time they were coached by a guy who billed himself as an Indian, although it later turned out not so much. So, it was a "Red" thing.

Thanks for that backstory--I was ignorant of it.
So, if they'd just move back to Boston, all would be well!
