Dallas Paramedic: We Weren’t Contacted After Working in Ebola Exposed Ambulance
Breitbart ^ | 10-02-2014 | Bob Price

HOUSTON, Texas -- A Dallas paramedic claimed he drove the ambulance that the US Ebola patient was transported in and that he was not contacted by anyone about the potential exposure. He claims he drove the ambulance sometime after the patient was transported. The Dallas Fire Department left the ambulance that transported Ebola patient Thomas Duncan to the hospital in service for at least 48 hours before putting it in quarantine on Wednesday. The ambulance was exposed to the Ebola virus when Duncan was transported on September 28th. “All the people in the back of the ambulance 48 hours later before they finally took the ambulance out of service,” said Dallas Paramedic Geoffrey Aklinski in a discussion on Facebook, “none of them have been contacted. None of the paramedics that were on that shift and went in the ambulance were contacted. I’ve been off three days now. No one contacted me and I was in and drove that ambulance after it was infected.”

The Blaze asked the question of cleaning up. Neither the CDC nor Texas officials had returned their phone call.

There is a book about iodine by a Dr. Brownstein. You have to take other stuff with it like selenium, magnesium and b vitamins in certain amounts.

When I see that pressure washer, I see vomit spraying all over the place. Hopefully, he poured bleach all over the area before he started spraying it everywhere.

Can't use bleach anyone as it contaminates and is toxic to grass, trees and insects and the EPA said it could drain to ground water supplies. It's just too dangerous to use.

I was specifically addressing a posters concerns about workplace contagion. Nobody with Ebola is going to work.

Ah. So you post in jest. But the situation is so surreal that you must add the little /s because, at this point, anything is believable.

I'm sure the gardens who rented the power sprayer are highly trained in contaminate bio-toxic removal...

What's odd is when a bag of flower falls off a chicken licken truck and hits the freeway super slab in LA, they shut down all 28 lanes, bring out teams of moon suited HAZMAT crews, with strange apparatus that resemble ghost buster equipment, with half a dozen choppers circling covering the event on every channel as millions are backed up all the way to Phoenix...

Of course they are trained. (/s) But what a picture the CDC is painting. On one hand they tell us Ebola require “contact” with fluids and don’t worry, until they are “symptomatic”, it’s not active. Who determines the line of “symptomatic”? Everyone leaves DNA through sweat, oily prints, sneezing, snot, bathroom fluids..... The Hazmat suits are on for the CDC/medical guys because of “body fluid” contact, yet, the Avg. person incidentally in contact with a sick person’s body fluids before they are in quarantine shouldn’t be worried, and our fears are poo-pooed. Something stinks.

5% of those exposed get infected. The CDC is up to 100 people exposed, but I’m pretty damn sure that FReepers could come up with another 100 that the CDC isn’t worried about.

(the ambulance drivers [2], the three in the photo [3], the firefighters who used the ambulance after the man was transported [12], patients who were transported in the same ambulance [let’s say another 12], the people who walked by the vomit and curiosity-seekers [I’ll estimate another 36 - keeping numbers on the dozen], the cops where were guarding the quarantined family last night [2]...)

There. Just with what I’ve seen and read on the news, I’ll bet that I just found another 67 that the CDC isn’t tracking and I’m sure there’s more. (What do you want to bet that they aren’t going after all the other patients who were in the ER in the first hours after he was released?)

If my guess is right, there’s a distinct probability that we’re talking about 10 infected from Patient Zero.

Where’s that picture of the guy with the face palm? This is unfreakin’ believable. No hazmat suit, not even gloves, goggles, N95 mask and face/or face shield.

Do you think that liquid even has bleach or some sort of disinfectant? Oh yeh, our procedures are so spectacular, it couldn’t possibly spread here. What a fantasy that is.

Yet, the first publicly brought here Americans sickened with Ebola are Hazmatted but the picture they paint with this pic is to tell us, “not to worry, see the clean up guys aren’t suited up because it’s so hard to catch”. How stupid do they think we are? These guys might just be maintenance for the apartments. Either way, Govt. talking out of both sides of their mouths. Don’t worry about yourselves and your incidental contact but we are hazmatted.

I was just speculating after hearing radio reports saying the illegal alien gardeners and leaf blower union local 187 in Dallas, has filed a grievance claiming some of their members were put at risk and duped into believing they were sent out to clean up after a dead Amarillo.

I see a hose hooked up. Good ole city water. Unless there is a pressure mounted truck, looks like a big nada except water.

I’m not saying I wouldn’t be worried if I was involved with treatment and transport, but I’ve been involved with EMS and our standard decontamination between any two transports should be sufficient. EMS crews deal with exposure to viruses constantly, and they should be taking precautions on every run. Now the truth is that most don’t worry about their shoes, watch bands, eye glasses etc. It is going to spread here.

It’s a good question were these guys cleaning up the vomit? or just pressure washing before the storms hitting Dallas in another part of the complex. Regardless, the questions of “WHO WHAT WHERE WHEN HOW”? are Valid and the Govt. should be answering. I see them with Hazmat suits on and the incidental contact with regular clothes. Something stinks and it “ain’t me”. I have on Victoria Secret Pink spray.
