Five members of the Dallas County Sheriff's Department who were briefly inside the apartment where a man with Ebola stayed have been temporarily put on leave.
"They're very concerned," said Christopher Dyer, president of the Dallas County Sheriff's Association. "Their families are concerned. You've got to go home and tell your spouse, 'Hey, I was just inside this house where a guy had Ebola.'"
The three deputies, a sergeant, and a lieutenant accompanied the head of Dallas County Health and Human Services Department and a doctor into the apartment late Wednesday night. They had gone there on the orders of Sheriff Lupe Valdez to get the people inside to sign a court order forbidding them from leaving the apartment.
Dyer said deputies should never have been involved to begin with, because he considers it a federal issue and not a local matter.
"My concern is for the deputies and their families, and I want to see Dallas County do everything that they can to alleviate their concerns," Dyer said.
The deputies are expected to return to work in a few days, Dyer said.

I would imagine the experts will say that there is only a very low probability that active virus was gathered by these early responders.
Nothing like a deadly disease in a country full or MORONS.

Very true! When it does happen, no one will truly know where it started either. This guy in Dallas essentially turned himself in.
The person that gets it, has no idea, spreads it, and dies somewhere is the one that’s gonna get us.
Worse yet.... Imagine if a group of Jihadists gets intentionally infected, comes across the Southern border, splits up to different regions of the country, and TRIES to spread it to as many people as possible in various locations. THAT would probably be worse than setting off a nuclear bomb somewhere. Each and every one of them would essentially be a ‘smart’ biological weapon! Granted, that’s a worst case scenario, but certainly if *I* can think of it, they SURE as hell have....

It does not take 7 people to get one woman to sign a piece of paper. In fact, she doesn’t need to sign anything. Tape the orders to her door and be done with it.
IOW, those LEOs are nothing but sheeple being lead by an idiot elected sheriff. Those officers should have turned in their badges and gone straight to the msm with their stories. Dallas, your ELECTED sheriff just put you all at greater risk. Kick his butt out of office immediately.
