Everytown for Gun Safety -- the gun control group funded by billionaire Michael Bloomberg -- is running ads in favor of Democratic Gov. John Kitzhaber and attempting to unseat state Sen. Bruce Starr, R-Hillsboro.

The group on Tuesday reported spending just over $56,000 on ads lauding Kitzhaber on gun issues, including a TV ad featuring the brother-in-law of Steve Forsyth, one of the two people killed in the 2012 shootings at Clackamas Town Center.

The group has also reported spending $22,000 in support of Democrat Chuck Riley in his race against Starr, who opposed a bill that would have expanded background checks for gun purchases in Oregon.

What the......... Didn't see that coming. NOT. Everytown=moms lookin' for a little action'. They will also be out in full battle dress in NV for the '16 elections. Intergalactic background check petition drive for a ballot initiative is fully underway and no doubt that brady, m&k giffords, mares against guns, mda(mlfala) and their ilk will be dropping bags of cash around to further their goals. Stay out of our states and our rights, and we'll stay out of your states and your rights. Devious sewer scum.

I wonder how a former government agent lobbying the people of another jurisdiction to alter laws in a way which he prefers can be reconciled with the concept of a representative government.

He’s a piker compared to georgy (I’ll turn you in in a heartbeat) sore-oats. Soar-oats dumps scads of money into so many disgusting anti-capitalist endeavors that it’s hard to keep up. And who is one of the biggest hypocrites when it comes to capitalism?

Given Bloomberg’s recent record of success, there’s a good chance Kitzhaber is about to get unseated and Starr has nothing to worry about.

Well, you see, he is convinced that he is much smarter than us peons. Otherwise, how could he have possibly become so rich? I think he’s actually a .1%er. Even one percenters are idiots in his view.

Yeah, I know. I wasn’t really talking about Soros per se. I was just being hyperbolic about BloomAss becuase he never seems to learn his money is just going to waste when he tries to manipulate elections in other states. What is he now, like zip for 4 or something?

Bloomberg, Christy, and Soros are all in the same league of people against the vote for common people and the right to choose our own legislatures.

The good news is that Soros is 84. Bloomberg is only 72, so we will have to deal with him for a lot longer.

The Clackamas Mall shooter was not stopped by the swat team, armed guards, or the no firearms allowed signs. He was stopped by the mere sight of seeing a weapon pointed at him by a CCW permit holder. The shooter then turned his weapon(stolen, of course)on himself. But, it is all the guns fault. Stupid overly emotional libs will never get that.

I remember that Clackamas Mall incident.

The CCW permit holder was a young guy, 22 years old I believe, and is an unsung hero. He saved many lives that day.

Of course, the media never said a word about this hero.... you can’t show guns or gun owners in a good light, no sireee.

Sadly, the 80% of ranchers on Oregon soil are so far outnumbed (outnumbered) by the Portlanians they hardly spike the radar. Kinda like Nevada and a lot of western states. The Las Vegasites so far outnumber those of us that believe in the constitution throughout the rest of the state, we must fight constantly to keep what rights we still have. Freakin’ sad situation.
