High Court Refuses To Rule -- and Gives Tacit Victory -- on Same Sex Marriage

Our country will go down the tubes for a myriad of other reasons...this to me just isn’t one.

Although you're right in saying that we're "going down the tubes" for a myriad of reasons, I believe you're wrong in saying that this issue isn't one of them. In my opinion the judicial legitimization of homosexual unions will not only be a cause of our nations demise, it will be THE cause.

According to Romans ch 1 vv 26-29 in my bible, which I am convinced is the inerrant Word of God (in the original text), God destroyed the antediluvian world with a universal flood primarily because of the rampant homosexual practices of the people of that era. There were other sins committed by the people of that time that we also commit today and they also played a part in that ancient world's destruction, but they aren't cited as the primary cause.

I believe God raised up our nation's founding fathers and the nation they created as an example to the great nations of that era and our forefathers carried out that mission admirably at a great cost of blood and treasure. Now fast forward to today's America and we find it to be the world's number 1 producer and distributor of pornography. After the USSC's default approval of homosexual "marriage" I have no doubt that our nation will eventually incur the same divine wrath that brought about the well deserved destruction of the antediluvian world.

This is about states rights...which everyone screams for. The Supreme Court is leaving it in their hands.
30 states have already “approved” of same sex marriage.

The Supreme Court did the right thing.
